The Easter Bunny is on a roll this year…with a little help from the ever fabulous Hotel Chocolat…

Easter is yet another excuse for a chocolate fest in our house, and there have been serious discussions over which of the amazing range we should go for…

The Easter Egg sandwich caught my eye, especially with the more unusual flavour options of Eton Mess or Salted Caramel. Equally the names of their Extra Thick Easter Eggs had me smiling, but in the end we chose a Beastie Egg – simple but still with a touch of fun.

And believe me when I say the Beastie didn’t disappoint – delicious thik milk chocolate, surrounded by mini eggs filled with praline or gloriously gooey caramel. I dare you to not enjoy this egg!!!

And the Easter Bunny has a spare one…..but he needs a giggle so why not tell us your best easter or egg related joke and the one which makes us laugh most will win their own Beastie Egg just in time for Easter. Hotel Romantic…

Any regular readers out there will know that I have a small(ish) obsession with the fabulous and always tasty Hotel Chocolat. They never fail to please with their mouthwatering flavours and innovative packaging, even opening the box is a delight!
And their Valentines Chocolates this year have done it again – to the point where I am considering ordering lots for myself and pretending that I’m just really popular!!!

They are all so so tempting and the little Keepsake Tins are just adorable but my favourite has to be the gorgeous and oh-so-girly Jewellery Box…a mirrored compartment, covered in the prettiest butterfly artwork and a selection of chocolates each individually wrapped.

Not only a gorgeous gift this Valentines Day (hint hint, boys!) but also something nice enough to keep and use after the big day – what more could a girl ask for!?!

Hotel Chocolat Easter Egg competition…

I love this time of year…spring is starting to appear, blossom is on the trees, the sun is shining, we had pancakes for dinner last week and coming up pretty soon is a whole weekend of eating Chocolate Easter Eggs!

Time for another giveaway…

I think it’s fairly safe to say that most people have now heard of Cake Pops – the fabulousness that is a bite sized chunk of cupcake and frosting coated in chocolate and presented on a lolly stick in a really ‘easy-to-eat’ manner! And the lady behind the Cake Pop phenomenon is undoubtedly the amazingly talented Bakerella.
